Map to the Stars Eddie is the gyro captain of the series he reminds me of the character in Mad max 2 the road warrior.
shareI don't really see that much of a similarity. Cabbie is more similar to the gyro captain than Eddie. Gyro captain may have started out as a somewhat pathetic character, but he was ultimately a good guy. He went on to lead the Great Northern Tribe after all. Eddie was just a sleeze who switched sides every other scene of the film. He was never one of the good guys, just occasionally teamed up with them, when he wasn't trying to work against them. On a basic character level they're somewhat similar (supporting characters of tough action heroes), but I don't see much of a connection beyond that.
