It might've been satisfying, but it's far from realistic.
From what I've seen, not many people are truly capable of considering a presidential run. Those who are tend to be beyond cowardice.
It's not that they're brave or noble; they just see the world, and their role in it, differently from the rest of us. They're less likely to flinch when confronted with a gun in the face because, in their hearts, they don't truly believe anything bad will ever happen to them.
Basically, they're supremely narcissistic, as they'd have to be to even consider themselves worthy of being the most powerful human on the planet.
Distressingly, sociopaths exhibit similar characteristics.
