Do Not Read If You Have Not Seen the Movie

This contains spoilers........

At the end of the movie Hugh Grant's character recieves all of the research that had been done. My question is, was there to be a sequel to this movie? He doesn't throw the information away and looks as if he is contemplating what he will do with the information. What do you think?

It's not a hook for a sequel, just another moral dilemma to ponder - see the thread, "Ethical Dilemma."

It's a neatly placed ironic semi-twist as we see that Guy has ended up specializing in neurology, so it appears he may have been influenced by Myrick's work and ideas after all. He was surprised by the wife's actions, but he's definitely not going to throw the work away.
