How do you die instantly from a stab in the leg?

cmon now, that was just silly. even when you get stabed in the leg sure it hurts like hell but you can just limp out to someone. the way they showed him was like he was in shock and then kinda just died. could it have been also the heat from the sauna maybe made him tired? because the pain mixed with the heat maybe made him like pass out or something? I don't know if that's possible but the way he died was really weird, I mean people get stabbed in the thigh don't just die like they just got shot in the head. you can live.

He didn't die instantly. And it wasn't just a stab in the leg dummy.

TI don't recall the whole scene, but there is a great big artery in the thigh, so add the shock to being stabbed, and b then bleed out pretty quickly

It's called the femoral artery. That thing gets cut you bleed out very quickly.

Yes if the femoral artery is cut it takes 9 minutes or less for you to die. And since he was in the sauna his heart would have been pumping harder and faster and this would have sped up the bleeding-out process. It's pretty quick, that is a major artery.

In addition when you're in a steam room it gets you drowsy so it's easy to see how that happened so quick.

If you get stabbed in the female artery, the juggler vein, or the karate artery you will bleed out quickly. I am surprised he didn't curl up into a fecal position when he was stabbed.

I guess it is obvious I know a lot about medicine even though I am not a sturgeon

It's not just him dying instantly, he could've passed out instantly and then officially died a few minutes later.

I wondered the same thing, so I guess a lot of people were.

Seems to me they should have just made it a stab to the chest to make it more believable.

I believe that Gil hit the femoral artery-You bleed to death shortly after... Nasty way to go...

Not to mention Primo was fighting Gil. The physical exercise makes your heart beat faster and your blood pump harder so, once he got his artery cut, he was shooting out blood and bled out way faster.

Didn't Gil also cut off a piece of Primo's flesh and put it in a plastic bag to put in Bobby's freezer?

add to that, Gil also cut out a chunk of his arm with the '11' burn in it. That'll help the dead.

An adult heart pumps blood at several litres per minute.
An adult has about 4 or 5 litres of blood.
So could bleed to death in a few minutes from just this sort of wound to the femoral artery.
