Anyone else love this film's soundtrack?
I thought it had some awesome music. Especially the last sing that plays over the final scene and the credits. This is probably my favorite Hans Zimmer score.

i thought the music was such a rip off of Seven. They used the same remix of "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails.... just watching de Niro lurking around with that music made me want to throw up.... I thought it was pretty awful.

Oh come on! that's for about 10 seconds while Primo bleeds out in the scene where he's stabbed, for 10 seconds they use the first part of the opening music in Seven
The remix of Closer used when DeNiro throws the knife through the bug on the door wasn't the same one in Seven.
So it was only 10 seconds out of the whole film, doesn't mean anything.
Yes I agree OP that Hans Zimmer produced a wonderful score for this film, the main theme to the movie was so powerful and sad, it always gets me emotional when the music plays at the start and end of the movie.
I also love "Samba Pa Ti" by Santana that plays when the tribute to Primo is played at the baseball game, I want that song to be played at my funeral, over the years the song has realy left an impression on me. share
It's been a long, long time since I've seen the movie all the way through, but if I remember right, the song that plays when the knife is thrown through the wall is off of Fixed, not Closer to God.
Then again, I've been working for d*mn near four weeks straight.
