Richie's role
Was there a need for him to be sexually perverted? Didn't contribute to the story in any way and kinda ruined the movie for me

I think it was also to drive home the point of just how messed up he was. Seth had been carrying him around and protecting him forever, no reason it would change. Clearly dude was off in the head. The movie does a good job of showing that...his lies in the liquor store, his senseless murder of the hostage, his uber creepy behavior regarding the girl. Dude was cuckoo for cocoa puffs. End of story.

Gonna admit I hate Tarantino as an actor, but that's usually because he's trying to play straight tough guy types and he can't. He was excellent in this movie though, because the character was a little "off" and nerdy and twitchy, just like himself.
And again...feet.
