What do the vampires actually do for a living?

HARVEY KEITEL...HIS PRESENCE WAS THE "BAD NIGHT" FOR THE VAMPIRES OF THE TITTY TWISTER...AS FOR WHAT THEY DO IN THEIR NON TITTY TWISTING TIMES...I DON'T KNOW...I GUESS THEY HANG AROUND.

Not something you really think about cause Salma is too fucking distracting.

They are in Mexico, and they have the bikers and truckers money and trucks and bikes. Plus whatever cargo is in the trucks. So I assume they can sell all that stuff for dirt cheap to corrupt people.
Vampires sleep during the day, it was shown that the titty twister is actually the top of an ancient pyramid/temple in the last shot where there were tons of tractor trailers and other junk around it. So I guess they have been there forever.

I have ALWAYS thought the exact same thing. The movie makes the vampires seem rather easy to kill, so much so that it's quite pathetic. I've never understood how such fragile creatures could ever survive for more than a few years, let alone several centuries.

I've also never understood how they've killed off so many people without ever dying; this bar seems like it attracts some pretty gnarly people, like ex-cons, military type, real brass knuckle-type folk...aka, the most likely demographic to stomp the fuck outta these vampires. But, back to my first point, I think even your average redneck trucker with a pistol could kill a few of these vampires, let alone dozens of redneck truckers. I've never understood it. The vampires are way too soft.
