Got to say this Mrs Reed- a truely nasty woman

Mrs Reed really verged on evil in this story. She mistreats Jane simply because she does not 'fit in"with the other kids and she disliked janes mother, she dotes on her lousy son who treats her like crap, and to top it off, when she learns of janes inheritance she lies and says Jane is dead!!! Jane was gone from her life for good, why couldnt she let her have her money and be happy... Mrs Reed was an awful vindictive woman, i would have not had the strength to forgive her if i were in janes shoes, jane was a better person than me....

I have always liked the fact that all the people who treated Jane badly in this story "got theirs" ended up not having fulfilling lives...
