There is no perfect adaptation!


Not one!

It seems that if the Jane is right, the Rochester is wrong and vise versa....

I wish someone would make a mini series that had all the right elements and included the dang gypsy scene for crying out loud!

I quite liked the 1983 version. While Timothy Dalton was too handsome for Mr. Rochester, he gave the role a passion I hadn't seen before and I loved him in that role! Zelah Clark as Jane is decent too, though I wasn't as inlove with her character as I was Rochester.

It's fairly accurate too and it includes the gypsy scene :) So far it's my favorite.
