It really sucked seeing such a sleazy annoying person like Ernie not only win the million dollars but, then he just goes off to live his life without any consequences for his actions. Particularly what he did to Roy all those years ago. He didn't even get punched in the face since Ishmael missed and hit the wall instead. That was a huge bummer.
shareActually, those two gangsters who were with Claudia come up to Munson and ask where she is because she had called Ernie a bunch of times. They then say to end the scene, "Let's go find McCracken," and the next scene Claudia comes to see Munson and mentions that that whole thing was to give Ernie a little payback so maybe they kicked his ass. I would've wanted to see that actually too. Maybe instead of that stupid outtake with the landlady, show Ernie with two hooks for hands.

shareErnie goes on to become an actor. As his career begins to decline, he has to go to Japan to make bad commercials for Suntory. He meets Scarlett Johannson, has a great weekend with her but leaves her to return to his family. Alas, he remains miserable. But he still has both hands!
