One thing I didn't get was....
Michael was on his last trip to earth and last miracle, which was to give Frank back his heart so he could love again. But he ended up using his last miracle on the dog instead, which voided the miracle he was in the process of using on Frank. So since he used up his last miracle and last trip, how/why was he able to come back to earth to finish his original miracle on Frank? That's never made clear.
