What hotel did Michael drag Kitty off to for safety while the Tans were torturing Broy and attempting to arrest IRA \ IRB men? So opulent!

The Shelbourne on St Stephens Green. It's about $500/nt right now.

Actually I think it was filmed in the Shelbourne, but the dialogue in the movie indicates it is the Gresham (on O'Connell Street across from the General Post Office - the building in the beginning of the movie with the white columns, where the 1916 Easter Rising was).
