What if Frankie would have just said ok I give up all they would have did was take her to jail and she would be locked up for certain amount of years....I'm guess that is what happend I didnt get that far in my criminal justice classes which is why I'm trying to go back now.

Cleo...all she just had to do was surrender or hell she had a car just drive another route or better yet steal another car.

Thanks for the reply that could be a possibility

It would be prison for all of them (probably life sentences) because people were killed during the commission of the robberies. Extenuating circumstances (death of a family member, loss of a job, etc) would not be a factor for a lesser sentence because they knew right from wrong but committed the violent crimes anyway.

life imprisonment without parole or death sentences(capital punishment) so either way they would never see freedom ever again so they figured they would be better off dead.

reply

It's the LAPD so let's be realistic...they probably would have been shot even if they surrendered.

reply

Cause the LAPD just shoots so many people who surrender...dumbass.

reply

You're the dumbass if you don't know anything about the LAPD's corruption. Shooting someone that surrendered would be one of the nicer things they've done.

reply

And of course you have detailed files and blah blah blah. You have no proof that lapd is any more corrupt than any other department. But I would be willing to bet that you are one of those that finds something racial in EVERYTHING.

reply

Actually, he never mentioned race. You went there...

reply

Yeah because people ripping the LAPD are always talking about their unfair treatment of white people....LOL

reply

All of those innocent civilians gunned down by the LAPD while they were hunting for Christopher Dorner might disagree with you.

They would be sent to women's federal prison. Any bank robbery falls under federal jurisdiction. Because of the deaths caused, and their violent nature, they'd probably get life. Now I want to research it lol.

reply

It likely would have been life because of the deaths involved. Now if there were no deaths I think they could have gotten a plea deal of 25 years to life or something like that even considering the circumstances, the prosecutor would have gotten one of them to take a plea deal and given her 25 to life so she can testify against the others.
