I mean iknow a film can't cover everything and part of the lure of the film was that they were 4 aliented women , however lets be real - inner city they had aunties and cousins , grand mamas .

I think what the OP was implying was that it seemed odd that the four main characters in the film didn't seem to have any family,like no mention of cousins,siblings etc..
I know it's stated early in the film that Stony and Steve's parents were dead,but that's about the only family members mentioned. I guess they felt adding anymore relatives wasn't importmant to the plot.
