a direct sequel
They should make one. Bring back Lopez, Cube, Stoltz. Have it pick up immediately where the original left off. Think about it, they're still in the middle of nowhere, don't really know where they're at, there could easily be more anacondas around. At the end, Sarone is dead, the big snake is killed, and they get more fuel, so it feels victorious, but they're literally not out of the woods. They all are obviously 25 years older but it goes without being commented on. Or maybe it is.
