Has anyone heard of this? There are three identical shots of Jennifer Connelly standing on a pier in three different movies:

House of Sand and Fog (which I haven't seen)
Dark City
Requiem for a Dream

If I were ever to direct a movie with Jennifer Connelly in it I would definitely include an ode to the pier standing.

I would make a movie about Jennifer Connolly standing on a pier just to be able to stare at her standing on the pier!



I saw Requiem of a Dream before this movie & was surprised that it wasn't where the shot originated from... However both are visionary standouts. I haven't seen House of Sand & fog, but it's very interesting the shot was used once again. Beautiful woman, beautiful scene.
