Heavy Metal 2000 vs Melting Pot - Which is better to you?

I prefer Melting Pot. Not that HM2000 isn't an interesting eye candy film. I prefer the story of Melting Pot and the end plot (don't want to give away the ending). The source material has much more depth.

Recently bought all four issues of The Melting Pot. I liked them both a lot. Although I will say that the artwork and the way it's drawn an written does have me a bit confused as to what's going on at times.

I think I slightly like Heavy Metal 2000 better though.
