Spall vs Sprawl

Jackal - "They get in there and they just spall."
Lamont - "Hell yeah, they spall.

...

Lamon - "Yeah. Thought I was about to SPRAWL."

He clearly says "sprawl". I find this hilarious.

Yeah I noticed that too.

But maybe it was intentional? Maybe he meant it as in "I thought I was going to be sprawled out", etc...

Saying a person is going to "spall" doesn't make a lot of sense. Spalling is when an object travelling at a high speed hits them and then disintegrates, breaking off tiny pieces of the object it hit.

So how exactly does a person spall? lol

When the Defecation hits the Oscillation.

...and a DU hitting a soft target like a body is going to spall when it hits AFV sitting behing the brick wall that's behind the body - and even then it might not!

I know it's just a movie, but for the love of every God known to man why can't they make something remotely realistic?

And he meant sprawl. As in, "You just pointed a bfg at me and I was about to throw myself down on the ground and spread myself as flat as possible to avoid being blown away"(i.e. the basic definition of sprawl as a transitive verb).

Rudy, question.
Yeah?
