If anything I think Fletcher would have become a prosecutor. It's clear that he would be denied the partner position at his firm much less turn it down after yelling at the judge in front of his boss, and also by showing he was clearly against the principles his boss stood for. Question is though, would he finish out the custody hearing for Mrs. Cole? If he didn't, wouldn't he be in danger of being disbarred?
Not to say that his career would be at an all-time high as a result of this case, especially how people saw how crazy he was, but wouldn't you think he would turn over a new leaf and choose the other side in law?
