I found the lie! (Besides 'this not being rewatchable'..)

Are you out of your mind? This is one of the top three most rewatchable movies EVER!

In any case.. I found it, finally.

When the judge asks him if he feels like he can proceed, WHY does he answer 'Yes, I can'?

First of all, he could've said something like 'I don't want to proceed' - truth, and nothing but the truth.

Also, he could've said, "I don't feel like I can proceed" - in his mind, he can't really proceed if he has to tell the truth, so he would only be expressing his true feelings, right? I mean, he feels REALLY stumped, he feels like proceeding with his plan is impossible, now that he can't lie... RIGHT?!

So why the hell does he say he feels he CAN proceed, when he definitely feels he CAN'T proceed. The judge didn't specify that he feels like that because of his physical injuries or the incident, so it can be ANY reason, for example, feeling queasy.

He's feeling a lot of 'impossibility' about proceeding, so we can now realize he actually LIED, when he said he feels he CAN proceed. He knows he can't, because he can't lie, so it's game over, no proceeding possible (and 'proceed' can ALSO mean so many things - surely Fletcher, the guy who said 'illness can mean so many things' would know this!)

Why is it that he can 'avoid telling the whole truth' when it comes to describing his assailant (he only gives a description without saying 'IT WAS ME!', like he does in the elevator scene - why was he forced to say anything there anyway? Makes no sense and is incongruent!)

So why does he HAVE to say 'it was me' in the elevator scene, but can COMPLETELY avoid pointing at himself beyond physical description in the 'who did this', especially when the judge DIDN'T ask for a description, but IDENTITY (which Fletcher didn't give, which means he didn't ANSWER what was asked, so what's up with that? Not lying per se, but if he can do THAT, why can't he use the same kind of tactic ALL THE TIME EVERYWHERE?)

Sad to say that even this movie doesn't make sense, even though it's the best comedy movie ever made.

This movie is also MASSIVELY rewatchable, what the F is that one poster smoking?!

He was physically able to proceed, I guess.

Although technically could be classified as "not lying", but still not the truth.
