Anyone remember is this seems eerily similar to an old epidoe of Kolchak the Night Stalker? My memory's a bit hazy but I swear there was an episode with the same premis, but I can't find anything online. Anyone help me out?

Not a flier. A vampier lived in the old subways area in old chicago. That story was kind of like this, "The Night Flier." I saw them all. Just have trouble organizing the stories. They are good for the time period.
shareThis story was clearly an homage to the Kolchak movies. The 2 TV movies were called The Night Stalker, and The Night Strangler. King was a fan, although he admits the TV shows ran outta steam.
