Just rewatched this movie recently, and while it wasn't bad it definitely isn't certainly wasn't award-winning material. The plot is decent, the cast laughable, and the ending was neither the worst nor the best I've seen.

However, in this modern-day age of vampire frenziness (thanks, in part, to the gawd-awful Twilight movies), Night Flier seems to be ripe for a remake. They [sucessfully] did it with Fright Night (whatever your opinion of that), and with True Blood, The Vampire Diaries and countless other vampire/boogeyman related movies/tv shows out there, I think this flick could stand to be updated.

I used to eat a lot of natural foods until I learned that most people die of natural causes.

HDU. Miguel Ferrer was flawless.

It would be interesting, though I really can't see them doing better on casting for the lead guy, I thought he was perfect. I think it would be interesting if the original movie could be tweaked, kinda remixed.. it had a lot of strong buildup but I felt like the ending was the weakest element.
