'Popsy' from Nightmares and Dreamscapes
Has anybody else read this short story?
I remember reading somewhere (actually, I belive that is was in the notes section in the back of the book) that King said that the vampire in this story is also the same one from Night Flier. So I was just wondering if any of you have also read it.

I think this is pretty interesting because that would mean that Dwight was a grandfather. In 'Night Flier' he comes off as a monster who is doomed to be alone, but in 'Popsy' we see him taking his grandchild (thus indicating that he does have family and is not really alone, nor is he always flying around and killing people) to the store to buy the little boy some toys. I don't know why, but knowing that Dwight and this vampire are the same makes me smile whenever I read 'Popsy'.
Also the story brings up some very good questions about the vampires. Mainly about their family lives, and also, about how they come to be. Are they made, or are they born like how humans are? Dwight's grandson is a sign that they are, or can be, born. But does that mean that Dwight was also born a vampire, or was he changed into one?
I know that I'm most likely looking to deeply into this, but I love the character of Dwight and I find that 'Popsy' sheds a little more light onto the guy.
Anybody else wish to share their thoughts?
