Several connections to King's fictional Maine

This subject has been brought up in other topics for this movie, but I love how in King's works (and in resulting film adaptations) there are always subtle mentions to King's other works (like King's fictional town of Derry, which appears in other King movies such as Dreamcatcher, Tommyknockers, and It). Derry's mentioned in this film. I also like how Cumberland County is used in this film. Those who will remember other King's works will remember this is the county Jerusalem's Lot (Salem't Lot) is located in, you remember, the town slowly infested and taken over by vampires. Are these subtle hints that are pointed to a Salem's Lot origin for the Night Flier. There are clearer mentions in King's actual stories so for those of you who want even better interweaving of King's work, take a read. What do the rest of yall think?

p.s Castle Rock is another popular fictional town King made up, and it appears repeatedly in King's stories and his film adaptations.
