One of the Greatest Boston Set Dramas of All Time
This film is up there with the Friends of Eddie Coyle and it deserves the oscar nominations and the praise that was lavished upon The Town. Along with What Doesn't Kill You I think this film is horrendously underrated and gives a sense of Boston that the other films never properly capture. Ted Demme was a master of his craft, and with this he created one of the strongest crime dramas of all time.
It's hard to get a hold of here in the UK but it's on youtube in parts and you can buy a region 1 dvd. It is a must watch and I can't recommend it highly enough.
