question about strip clubs

From what I've heard, you just pay a door fee. If you want to get a private dance of any kind, then you pay for it. Tipping the stage-girls is complementory, not mandatory. I don't think they appreciate guys that go in and don't get any dances or tip any of the girls. I'm not sure though, different clubs probably have different rules. I've never been though, so it's all second hand information anyway.

well no, technically u dont have to pay the girls on stage cuz thats the equivalent of leaving a tip which is almost never mandatory (except at the ghetto IHOP near my house that included a 15% tip in my bill and i definitly didnt get 15% tip-quality service!) But to compensate, usually there is a cover charge and a drink minimum which is set up so that the club/dancers always turn some sort of profit. And of course private dances, table dances, etc have to be paid for

sometime they are tacky and ask for a tip.

i get tacky right back and say "i aint got no change".

and if they say " i got change"

i just go " leave me alone".

Strippers are not paid, nor do they make any money off drinks or your door charge. In fact, they have to pay the club to work.

No, you don't HAVE to pay (except for dances of course), BUT if you sit at the "tip rail" (the area around the stage), you are expected to tip, at least singles. If you sit at a table, you are expected to at least get a dance from someone. If a girl sits with you for any length of time, you SHOULD get a dance or tip for her time. If you don't find a girl interesting or attrative, simply say, "sorry, Im waiting for someone else."
AND if you don't want to tip or get dances, sit at the bar.
