theres always that one member of the family that everyone hates on, the black sheep and because of her success teri happened to be it. sure she might have been a lil self righteous but come on she took care of her mother and barely gets credit, her city steals the love of her life and her husband hooked up with her cousin. Teri never caught a break.

It's not because of her success but her self righteous attitude. Plus she was the one who was jealous of Maxine not the other way around. She took care of her mother finically but what else did she do? Was she actually around helping her out or just writing checks? There is a difference you know. Plus Maxine and Terri were in high school, your high school boyfriend rarely turns out to be the love of your life. Also you can't "steal" a person they had to come over to them willingly! As a person who supposedly "stole" her current guy from his ex (long story), I have to admit that I really hate it when people say that.
