I know Bird just wanted to help her husband, but...

...you just cannot trust a man like Samuel. A real friend would keep it a secret, but Simuel is a slimeball, so he cannot be trusted.

I'm guessing he didn't think it was a big deal since it was a favor to Bird, but he just didn't think that Lem would make a big deal out of it like he did.

You could tell Lem knew exactly what Simuel (or however you spell his name, lol) was all about when he was talking to him in the lunchroom. The way he focused in on his mouth as he spoke said, "Yeah, this guy is nothing but a slick talker. He'll say anything to get what he wants out of someone or something."

She was a stupid broad for that. You don't betray your husband like that, if the roles had been switched she would have been pissed he was hitting up his ex girlfriend to give her a new weave.

Agreed! I don't see why she thought that would be a good idea to ask her ex to hook up her HUSBAND with a job, especially how Mel Jackson flirted all the time.

and then she took GIFTS from him and promised him dinner on top of it!
