Yeah, but Jack was too far gone by the time Rose cut his stiff body loose to the sweet by and by.
I know you don't like the supernatural aspect, but how about a sci-fi themed sequel where a later ship picked up Jack's frozen corpsicle and buried him in Nova Scotia with other Titanic victims. Decades later, some ghoulish med school nerds dig up his body and cloned him in a new process that enables the clone to retain the memories of the DNA donor. Jack attacks and kills the med school student (and runs amuck through the dorm), then makes his way back to the U.S. to avenge his cold, painful, lonely, watery death where he finds that Rose died peacefully warm in her bed the year before.
Never mind, that sucks.
