I thought this movie was pretty cool. The scene that showed Donald Sutherland in his "mechanical" form & his robotic accent was really cool, surprising for an old film without much recognition nevertheless. Strangely though I enjoyed this movie more than Ghost Ship. probably because the happenings behind this film are LIKELY POSSIBLE.

I second.
Hardware was far superior, but a couple of the scenes in virus
like the "human chop shop" made me pretty happy.

Are you serious? Hardware is one of the worst films I've ever seen. Utterly laughable when it shouldn't be. Besides which, how is Virus that heavily "derivative" of Hardware? They both have killer robots, that's about it.

At first I thought it was a sequel to Moontrap. Exact same idea of machine-based aliens using humans as "spare parts"
