Virus vs. Moontrap
Now neither of these movies are great. But, if you sitting down to watch a movie about a lifeform that is electrically based and is using parts of humans to make machine-human hybrids and you are excepting to see a great movie.... then you are an odd fellow.
I didn't mind either of these movies. Sutherland's accent flucuated from some old grissled american sea captian to some scottish-irish yutz. Koenig in Moontrap had a sex-scene with some broad on the moon right around the time they notice everything was turning to hell. The acting from both of the casts in Virus and Moontrap was pretty contrived...
But again, it's about an electrical alien lifeform using human body parts to construct droids.
But watch these two movies back to back, very similar.
