I am about halfway through Virus on the SciFi channel, and there is no question that Donald Sutherland puts on the WORST accent I've ever heard anywhere. That is, when he remembers he is supposed to be using it, which happens to be about half his lines.

Sutherland has done Irish accents before,in The Eagle has landed and in The Eye Of the Needle,but in Virus he seems to have forgotten to do the accent.
Don't think his heart was really in this movie,maybe I am being unfair.
Who cares, it's just a silly movie. Donald is great as always, I think he does accents fine most of times (like in "A Dry White Season") and he's simply not able to give bad a performance no matter how odd the material. Period. Look at "Blood Relatives", crap script, good Donald.
