Great mix of action and comedy. Lou Diamond Phillips in particular steals the show, he's hilarious! I got this on video, I usually watch it about once a year, and I just happen to be watching it right now while I'm posting this! lol Great movie.

I agree.. Its one of me favourite films (not one of me top films) but top
30-40 perhaps.. Its not a movie u can take seriously, because from the start its
obvious that its meant for entertainment and tongue in cheek humour.
I'm watchin it now on tv, happened to be the late movie after 'The One' 2nite.
I have it on DVD but its just good to catch it on tv newayz,
for I haven't watched it for over 2 years.
Each individual character has its only little querks..
Maalox guzzling, low self esteem Melvin.
The hidden alcoholic soon to be father in law.
The mother in law who won't allow a catholic/jewish marriage.
The obsessed girlfriend who only wants Melvin's money.
The friend 'Crunch' who's obsession with his right hand is scary.
Just to name a few.
All good fun and over the top but still great action :)
