He even said the waitress at the restaurant and the flight attendant were grade A meat or something like that, what a jerk! I love when the flight attendant pushed that sleaze into the bathroom aahahaaaa! I hate men who treat women like crap, what in the world did Julia see in that creep, other than he has money?

He is a good looking guy and I sort of got the feeling that he wasn't always that big of a jerk. He made a comment that Julia was with him before he made all of his money so I'm guessing he was never totally sweet but he probably wasn't that awful until he became rich.

He says at one point that she was with him before he had his money.

My guess is that she thought he was handsome, driven and charismatic. I also think she was a bit naive. He was probably nice and sweet to her to the point where she did not see his other side. He was probably sweet to her even though he was a jerk, and it took her a long time to see his other side.
