The villain ruined the movie for me!

I hated Glenn. He was a pretentious asshole who beats up Robbie and then adds insult to injury by mocking him after committing physical assult. Fuck this guy, he's such a borderline "toxic masculinity" ridden character. At least Shooter McGavin was written as the "asshole you love to hate" but Glenn was just written as a "douchebag you just hate". Also, Shooter got a much better comeuppance than Glenn. I would've loved to seen someone (maybe not Robbie) but someone else just knock him out with a single punch. It's a shame that didn't happen. All that happens is he gets cornered by Billy Idol's bodyguards and locked in an airplane bathroom. Come on, even Wedding Crashers did a better job with giving the similar douchebag villain his well deserved comeuppance; and a much better one.

This was an otherwise good movie and it reminds me of another movie set in the 80s (via time travel) where I hated a similar douchebag jock villain who got his sadistic kicks (well, punches) by beating up someone. Of course I'm referring to Hot Tub Time Machine, but at least the bastard got a taste of "laser guided karma" when the bullied vicitim fought back and kicked his ass. Again, another great comedy, but why try to ruin them with these generic bully archetypes with no redeeming qualities? They somehow make the film almost unwatchable.

Not unwatchable at all

He doesn't make it unwatchable but it is funny how they gave him no redeemable qualities.

Hardly a villain. More like a nuisance.

I didn't think Glenn was nearly as bad as Eric Gordon on Billy Madison or some of the other movie villains you see, I was happy with what happens to Glenn on the airplane and it was great seeing Glenn lose in the end, I thought Glenn was a decent guy in the first half of the film.

I had a similar issue with Disney's "Hercules" and still hate that movie to this day.
