Be sure to work out the chronological order of Clone Wars. Bonus points if you work in the Tartakovsky series as well. Disney doesn't consider that one canon anymore, but if you didn't like The Force Awakens, I'm guessing you don't put much stock in Disney's idea of canon. And don't forget Rebels, to follow up on a few unfinished Clone Wars plot lines. At the moment, it's still a year or two before Rogue One.
