I hope he is lying. Obi talking to his master's old ghost (and apparently the guy who discovered how to BECOME a Force Ghost), is something too good to miss out on. In fact I'd go so far as to say the series will be a bit disappointing if he DOESN'T, in at least one episode, talk to his old master's ghost. Qui Gon was awesome, and meant a lot to him. So I hope it's Andrew Garfield lying about not being in the new Spider-Man stuff going on.

Would be amazing to see him return depending what they would do with his character. Such as my fan theories I have of him that I wrote in another thread detailing how maybe something tragic happened in his past which is reason he felt so much into wanting Anakin trained as well as freeing Jar Jar and that he gave more into emotion not following the mainstream Jedi code.
