Qui-Gon Jinn was among the best of the old Jedi Order as well as the most unorthodox, but could he have prevented Anakin's fall from grace?

If he'd lived, I could see him becoming Anakin's "fun uncle", a secondary mentor who'd show Anakjn how to cope, and not take things too seriously, or personally.

Which means that Palpatine would have found a way to get him killed as soon as he could! My boo Palpy wouldn't want Anakin to have any positive relationships with senior Jedi.
