Republic weapons?

While the clones were hatched on kamino where did al of the weapons and ships come from? it would have been much more difficult to hide that construction than the clones who were on an outer world. How did they manage to get the ships to the clones right when they were needed?

reply

the weapons came from Kamino

reply

So those "cloners" also built star destroyers. That seems likely....

reply

Im not sure why you have cloners in quotes, do you really believe the clones werent from Kamino?

Kamino making the weapons and ships is the most plausible method of getting them

reply

The Kaminoid's / Kaminian's ??? Were referred to as "cloners" to Obi-wan. And while they built the clone army I find it unlikely they would have shipyards in orbit for the star destroyers let alone all the other vehicles.

reply

Why? Because you say so? We know they make their own weapons and are making grand armies of clones but ships are just way too unbelievable? lol

You still didnt explain why you put cloners in quotes, you do believe the Kaminoans are cloners? Or what?

reply

Well, with all the other nonsensical elements that surrounds t ge clone army, that factor is realativly small. The first question how they continued working with the order with no one checking the progress and the senate not questioning its origins.

"Hatched"?

The ships and weapons were definitely a package deal that came along with the clone army. They were specifically trained on all of that equipment and how to use it. This means that the Kaminoans either built it themselves or contracted it out to a different group.

If they did build it themselves, why would that be so unrealistic? I think you are assuming that each race of aliens can only be good at one thing.

Although not seen in Episode II, the Venator-class Star Destroyers had to have been constructed before Episode II, because they are used in the Clone Wars very quickly. Definitely one of Palpatine's hidden construction projects, these ships were not built by the Kaminoans.
