That just opens up the variations of calling him Dookie or Count Doo-Doo.

Well, Luca$h was writing these for children so that might explain it.

I know... they should have stuck with Darth Tyrannus and left it at that. Count Dooku sounds like something off of PBS' Sesame Street.

I think that it was also intended as a brick-to-the-head obvious reference to Count Dracula, given Lee's extensive history with Hammer Films.

Absolutely 007! what gives me the idea that the Star Wars films weren't made only for children as I read here many times. Children wouldn't know that Christopher Lee played Count Dracula.
