These movies aren't good.

But that doesn't mean the originals are any less important. In 30 years, Im sure no one will care that these were made. The originals will be looked at like we look at Universal monster movies.

The CGI in these movies is painful for me to watch. The acting, at times, is cringeworthy. One thing, however, that the prequels have over all the other films is the lightsaber battles. The choreography was amazing. Even the new films faltered at this and I don’t understand why.

I wonder if it's because we live in an age where great CGI is so common that it's no longer impressive. After Avatar and Marvel, CGI has become normal.
Think of the practical effects of the 80's. Some movies thrust the Industy into the stratosphere with Rob Botton, Tom Savini, And Stan Winston's work. With such good examples, others paled in comparison.
As for choreography, they didn't care most likely.

AOTC was a well made movie with a meaningful story despite a few missteps in the execution of certain aspects. The prequels objectively overall told a coherent overarching narrative & did an excellent job expanding the universe & the lore. The unfortunate Di$ney Wars cash grab era has given us none of that & makes me appreciate the prequel trilogy all the more.

AOTC is excellent.

Phantom Menace gets a little too much hate I think. Revenge of the Sith is actually pretty good. AOTC is almost a good movie. The romance is trash and yeah, the plot is very exposition heavy. It's the 'Rise of Skywalker' of the prequels.
