What was the point of Quintin...? Spoilers

Killing and attempting to kill the remaining survivor (Kazan) . I get that they left him for dead, but he wanted to leave the austic guy behind and he was alive and proved useful towards the end. I mean the fact that Quintin would waste the last bit of energy killing these people so close to their escaping out of the cube is ridiculous. His character was very aggressive and cold but for him to murder them, especially the girl who really was responsible for saving them is really weird.

Maybe him being in the cube turned him into a psychopath?

The answer to your last question is yes and that is basically the answer for all of it. He sought only revenge by then.
I think that leaving the autistic guy behind was quite reasonable at that point, as he eventually almost killed him. Also I was annoyed how they defended the retarded guy who almost killed him for no good reason. They called him Nazi? WTF? He had every right to be mad at him.

I'm so with you on that. Who wouldn't react that way? I didn't like Quentin but he had every right to at least take one good shot at the autistic dude.

Damn that sounds mean when I read it. Oh well.

they did pretty much leave HIM behind though..
however i think he could've just let go of Kazan and waited for the bridge to return to the exit and leave in a few days.
