The Top Gun of Abortion rights

Don't get me wrong, I'm quite pro-choice, and I thought it was a good movie, but damn, they did lay it on pretty thick.

For anyone who hasnt seen the movie, I'll chime in and say I disagree with this assessment. And Im not really strongly decided one way or another. I think the movie is ultimately pro-choice, but it's not that heavy-handed in my opinion. I say this because the character(s) who're big advocates arent presented as without their own flaws

I've watched the movie again since my original post, and I'd like to amend my statement.

I still find it quite heavy-handed, but in the sense that every part of this movie blatantly emphasizes some aspect of the abortion issue. It's not overwhelmingly pro- either side (I feel that it does come out heavier on the pro-choice end, but that could be my own convictions talking), but it is undeniably 120/126 minutes of pure abortion pathos.

Do not watch this movie looking for subtle allegory.
