anybody know the source material of the movie?
Oshii on one occasion mentioned that the movie is a based on a certain 論文(thesis/papers/report). Does anybody have any clue what it might be?
I'm thinking that it would probably be from Japanese New Left, considering his background as activist of new left. But it might be something completely different since he supposedly has changed his political stance from then. Like he quote James F. Dunnigan in this movie.
