Love this movie

Mine too! I was excited to see its on Amazon Prime.

Watched it last night and it was like getting reacquainted with old friends. Would be great if the stars come together to do another rom-com.

KC,

I agree. Maybe Rob Reiner, who was a good friend of Nora Ephron, could direct it. Also, he is a friend of Tom and Meg, having worked with both through "When Harry Met Sally" and "Sleepless In Seattle".

I wonder if it's possible to make a good rom-com by making a sequel to YGM?

Yes, I liked it too. I like Tom and Meg together and I like the way they knew each other and interacted so much throughout the film unlike Sleepless in Seattle to where they don't speak until the movie ends. I love how Joe knew who she was and he developed a good relationship with Kathleen "a project that needs a little tweaking" and seeing them become friends while there is this mystery internet guy she hopes to meet at some point. The moment he visits her while she's sick and everything after that are just gravy.

this hands down is my biggest guilty pleasure movie.

It's sad I'm replying to a bunch of zombie posts originally made on IMDb, but I'll agree. My wife and I watch this every year back to back with The Shop Around the Corner. The stories aren't really the same. YGM stands firmly on its own.
