What's with the wig?


In some scenes he's wearing this terrible wig and others it looks like his natural hair. Sometimes it even changes in the same scene, like the 90 minute fight with the bald guy in the middle of the movie. Starts with his natural hair, then they go to the wig, and it ends with his natural hair. Did they wrap production and only end up with 60 minutes of film after editing, then brought everyone back for reshoots only to find that Fabio had some sort of hair accident? I don't understand what's going on...
