Keep in mind I haven't seen. It since I was very little, so I could be confusing it with another show, but I don't think I am. Basically the part that I remember the most ended with a castle like building (maybe a factory) exploding. I really am almost positive that Cyril Sneer was the villain in it. I dont remember much else, and I've been trying to locate it for years. Thanks for any help!
shareThe one you're thinking of is probably "The Raccoons and the Lost Star", the 1983 hour-long TV special that helped establish the foundation for the series. It features all the same characters, with a slightly surreal storyline. It does end with a giant factory inside a mountain exploding as the heroes escape, and Cyril Sneer is indeed the villain of the story. The whole thing should be on Youtube if you look for it, it's worth a watch.
