Well, if you want to get really nit-picky, there's some stuff like Mr. Knox and Lady Baden-Baden's marriage, that is seen better if you view the episodes in order. Overall though, every episode is pretty much self-contained.
Yeah. And stuff like Schaeffer opening the Blue Spruce Cafe. I like those eps after the ranger and the kids disappear better. Could you imagine if they didn't go away? "Where's Schaeffer dad?" "Oh, he's out at his restaurant serving the little forest creatures." :)
so basically, they are ok to watch in a random order, but only very small things and not actual episode plot details will seem out of place on occasions.
Thanks for that guys.

What eps did you find? I could tell you the order of eps. Did you get dvds, or are they on youtube? I've considered getting dvds, but there are only 9 eps in a set.
I love in one ep when Lady Boden-Boden starts working at the cafe and turns it into a snooty, expensive place and Bert comes in just wanting a peanut butter sandwich. She puts a tie on him and asks if he has reservations. He says "Yeah, I've got a few."
I am only missing the following episodes (19 out of 63):
Episode 05 - The Runaways Episode 06 - Buried Treasure Episode 09 - Cry Wolf Episode 10 - Rumours Episode 11 - Gold Rush Episode 16 - Stop the Clock Episode 28 - Paper Chase Episode 34 - Games People Play Episode 38 - End of the Line Episode 40 - Black Belt Bentley Episode 42 - The Wrong Stuff Episode 47 - The One That Got Away Episode 49 - The Sky's the Limit Episode 50 - Bully for You Episode 51 - A Catered Affair Episode 53 - Spring Fever Episode 54 - The Family Secret Episode 60 - Stealing the Show
& Special2 - The Raccoons On Ice

That's strange that they're numbered that way. Episodes 40 and 42 are from 1990 but Episodes 48-60 are from 1989. The one I was just quoting from above was "A Catered Affair."
