Have u ever noticed something strange in this movie?

I know that's kind of a vague question. There's probably a lot of strange things in this movie, I mean it has Matt Stone and Trey Parker in it and a guy named Squeak who sleeps in a drawer. So let me clarify. The elevator...WITH STAIRS...WHAT, WHAT, WHAT? When Robert Vaugn is talking with Remer about Shaq making big bucks when he went to L.A. he is painfully confused with Remer's stupidity and catches the next elevator to escape but when the elevator opens there is a flight of stairs there to welcome him. I assume this was put in as a joke but does anyone know why?

I have seen that. It even has the elevator beep when the doors open. Awesome

I never thought much about it - just figured that it wasn't an elevator door, but a high security door to Baxter's private quarters? Doesn't make sense why he'd have to wait for the door to open though. Good catch!

Probably just a sublte sight gag, the Airplane movies are riddled with them.
