Reel Big Fish?

I hear this movie is awful, but I just wanted to see it because the Reel Big Fish are in it. Do their songs just play in the background, or do they actually have any sort of part in the movie?

reply

It's not awful, I know a few of Reel Big Fish's songs are in the movie. I haven't seen the movie for a while but it seems like they had a small cameo.

They play Beer and the rally song for the Milwaukee Beers. Oh, and a great cover of a-ha's "Take On Me".

I recommend watching it, and not just for the killer soundtrack (My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult plays also), but also because it's a vector 180 degrees from awful. You have to like to laugh, though.

They're the official band of the Beers, and appear in the movie probably 2 or 3 times. I just watched it two days ago and it was funny how skinny Aaron Barrett was. And this movie is RAD.

The movie isn't awful, it's quite funny. I just saw it for the first time in how many years today and it's still pretty golden. The Fish are in it for a few scenes. They're the official mascot of the Beers. I actually just saw the Fish play in LA on Friday and it's weird to see the band in this since they were practically kids!

It's also funny seeing the band's lineup at the time of filming. Only 3 current members I believe, Aaron, Scott, and Dan. Plus this movie is hilarious, only made better by the inclusion of RBF.
